[JOB POSTING] Marketing and Design Assistant (Kickstart)


Part-time, 25 hours a week

Salary: National Living Wage (London Living wage if you are London-based)

If you are passionate about working in design and/or marketing in publishing, then a Kickstart opportunity with BookMachine is for you. BookMachine is a global community of industry professionals. As part of the team, you would be helping us to grow our community, whilst working with and speaking to a range of publishing professionals. An interest in pursuing a career in design or marketing within publishing is a must.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing assets to support the marketing of the BookMachine Community
  • Communicating with BookMachine members on our site and in our app
  • Helping design social media graphics for our clients
  • Supporting the marketing team with day-to-day tasks and admin
  • Researching markets and helping with client prospecting
  • Interacting with the wider publishing community via social media

Important info:

  • Contract: 6 months initially, with the possibility to extend into a full-time role
  • Location: Remote from home with the option to work from our London Hub in Greenwich, SE10 0AX as needed
  • Start date: January 2021
  • Equipment will be provided
