Unbound has now crowdfunded 100 books, raised over £2 million from pledges, published bestselling books like Letters of Note and critically acclaimed novels like The Wake. What implications does this have for the publishing industry?
Mathew Clayton does stuff with books: as an editor, events organiser and writer. Currently, he works as the Head of Publishing at the innovative crowd funding publisher unbound.co.uk and runs a literary tent at Glastonbury Festival. Up until 2014, he was the literature producer for the Brighton Festival, he has worked for Channel 4, The Guardian, BBC Books and the Port Eliot Festival.
