We have been here before. The publishing industry has transformed completely in the past, and weathered the storm. So how do we prepare for what’s ahead? In this engaging talk, Astrid DeRidder will take us back to Henry VIII’s times to explore how content became what it is today and use those lessons to help us think about our future.
Astrid deRidder has worked in publishing for more than a decade, working her way up from a Production Editor at Random House to her current role as Head of Content with Cambridge University Press. With a career that has spanned the Atlantic Ocean as well as trade and educational publishing, Astrid brings a unique customer (and commercial-centric) focus to the world of product development.
BookMachine Cambridge is hosted by Melody Dawes.
