Working mainly within the academic and STM publishing space\, the development in the consumption and production of books and journals has been extensive. At Lumina Datamatics\, as Senior Director of Business Development\, and in previous roles at Amnet and SPi (now Straive)\, Deborah has had the privilege of working with many publishers to develop cost-effective and high-quality solutions to ensure their content is available\, accessible\, and of the highest quality. In addition to her day job\, Deborah relaxes and decompresses with her small flock of Black Welsh Mountain sheep. \n  \n  \nAbout Jessica\nJessica began her publishing career as a trainee scientific copyeditor\, after receiving a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and physics and a master’s in astronomy\, with a brief foray into teaching. Over 30 years later\, she is now a director at Sunrise Setting Ltd\, recently acquired by Lumina Datamatics. Sunrise provides UK-based editorial services\, including project management\, copyediting\, proofreading and indexing. Jessica is involved all aspects of the business\, with a focus on new business transitions\, personnel\, finance and training\, ensuring that Sunrise have the best people to do the job. \n  \n  \nAbout Katy\nKaty McIntosh is Head of Content Operations Delivery for Academic Books and Journals at Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Katy joined the Press just over three years ago with a background in copy-editing and editorial quality. In her role\, she leads a team that aims to ensure books and journals are delivered in the best way possible in terms of quality\, speed and price\, alongside other considerations such as innovation and accessibility.
