Emma is currently working with Laurence as part of an apprenticeship at Cambridge University Press, she came to the position via the LDN Apprenticeships team. During our discussion, you can learn more about the experience from both the employer and the apprentice perspective. We will delve into tips for publishers looking to hire apprentices themselves and there will be insights from Emma about being an apprentice.

Laurence Koster is a Commissioning Editor at Cambridge University Press, focussed on publishing multi-component print and digital products for Primary English Language Teaching, used by learners worldwide. He works in a global team based in the UK, Spain and Mexico. Previously, Laurence worked as a technical support analyst and then as an English teacher to adults and young learners.
Emma Payton has been an Editorial Assistant Apprentice at Cambridge University Press for just over a year, and is now approaching the final phase of her learning before entering the gateway stage with her training provider, LDN Apprenticeships. After graduating, Emma is hopeful to continue with progressing her career in Primary English Language Teaching within Editorial or Project Management.
