Event Navigation
Join us on Thursday 4th March, 2–3pm GMT (9–10am EST / 3–4pm CET) for the second edition of The BookMachine Ideas Hub!
Whether you’re thinking about starting new projects, launching exciting ideas or trying something different, chances are you’ve lots of intentions set for the year ahead. To help you stay on track, tap into this session to discuss your ideas with other BookMachine members.
You’ll get the opportunity to present your goals for month ahead and tap into the collective brainpower of your peers to get real-time feedback and support relating to your publishing career or business. This is all designed to help you exchange thoughts, test what you know, and set things in motion.
Please RSVP below for the Zoom link, and be sure to read the ground rules below so you know how the session will work. We look forward to seeing you there!
Who is the Ideas Hub for?
Everyone is welcome! All members can join the session for honest feedback and thoughts from the community.
You might like to talk about a new business idea or career move, seek input for a marketing campaign or discuss an upcoming project. Even if you don’t have a specific challenge or question prepared, the Ideas Hub is a great chance to think creatively.
How does it work?
Once everyone is in the Zoom meeting, you’ll be invited to join smaller groups of up to 4 people. You’ll each get 15 minutes of focus time to discuss your business, career, ideas or problem – and for the group to offer feedback.
At the end of the session, everyone will come back together as a group to wrap up the session and pose any final thoughts.
The ground rules
To get the most out of the Ideas Hub session and ensure it runs smoothly we please ask you to:
- Arrive on time – the Zoom meeting will be locked 5 minutes after the start time
- Ensure you are free for the duration of the session – out of respect for the other members in your group, we ask that you don’t drop in and out of this one
- Contribute during other members’ time – these groups will work best if everyone is involved
