Mastering SEO to make your books more discoverable (BookMachine CAMPUS)

This BookMachine CAMPUS course will help you understand the basics of SEO and how you can use SEO techniques to make your books and your business stand out online.


Learn how to boost your ranking, website traffic and online credibility. The course will cover the following core topics within SEO:


  • Keywords – what are they, how can I find them and how do I use them?
  • Your website– how to make your website and product pages SEO-friendly
  • Links – how do they influence SEO?
  • Plus lots of examples from the publishing industry you can learn from and easily put your ideas into practice after the course


This course is led by Abby Coften and we’ll use Zoom meeting so that you can learn new things, whilst interacting with other course attendees in small groups.



About your tutor


Abby is Head of Marketing at BookMachine. She is a CIM-qualified digital marketer and trainer with over 19 years’ experience leading and implementing successful campaigns for trade and educational publishers with specialist expertise and professional qualifications in social media marketing, paid ads, SEO, email marketing and copywriting. Before joining BookMachine she worked with a number of leading organisations including Octopus, Macmillan, Pearson, Hodder and Kogan Page and has trained thousands of individuals on improving their digital marketing.
