#imaginepeace picture book launch with messages from around the world

#imaginepeace

imaginepeacebook.com is a new website celebrating the publication of IMAGINE, the first picture book set to John Lennon’s iconic lyrics paired with illustrations by award-winning artist Jean Jullien. The book has been published by Frances Lincoln Children’s Books, an imprint of The Quarto Group – all royalties from the sale of IMAGINE will be donated to Amnesty International.

To raise awareness of the book, and it’s cause, children, teachers, carers and parents are encouraged to leave messages of peace on the website. This allows everyone interested to read other messages from around the world.

Kate Allen, Director of Amnesty International UK, says ‘Nearly half a century after it was recorded, Imagine’s vision of a peaceful world without barriers, greed or hunger is as relevant as ever. John and Yoko’s dream of people standing up for what they believe in and breaking down barriers is something we strongly admire at Amnesty International. We know that when people come together with a shared vision, they can change things for the better. We hope that people of all ages and from all corners of the world will join us by writing their own message of peace, in a global act of solidarity for a better future for everyone.’
