Job Title: Production Assistant, full time

Job Location: London, UK

The Quarto Group are looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to join their busy Children’s Production team. This is a great opportunity to work on a wide range of children’s books and learn about the production process.

Key responsibilities of this role will include pricing up and ordering reprints, preparing titles for print and monitoring printing schedules. You will be interacting with the editorial and design teams, suppliers and customers to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. Strong communication skills are essential. You will also ensure the high quality of each title.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

 Required

• Ability to multi-task in a time-pressured environment
• PC skills
• Written and oral communication skills
• Numeracy skills
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to create and maintain accurate records

 Desired

• Firebrand title management
• Knowledge of InDesign file creation

 Education and Experience

• Office experience
