Creating a thriving TikTok strategy for publishers

Learn the secrets to setting up and running an effective TikTok channel for book and publishing brands

Join marketing expert Gemma Rostill for the first of our BookMachine Campus Sessions taking place in 2024 to learn the secrets to setting up and running an effective TikTok channel for publishing businesses.

This boutique workshop-style session will provide marketing professionals with insights into the key challenges for modern marketing teams in publishing when managing multiple social accounts, and chart a path forwards with your TikTok strategy.

What you’ll take away from the session:

  • Latest BookTok trends that publishers need to know
  • Practical insights into how to get started
  • Ideas and an outline plan for channel strategy and content
  • Informed discussion of the barriers to success and how to tackle these
  • Meaningful connections with marketing colleagues from across the publishing industry
  • A copy of all materials shared on the day

The session will take place in-person at BookMachine’s London Hub office in the stylish Design District London, North Greenwich. It will include a presentation, workshop-style discussions to troubleshoot real world scenarios and networking with your peers with refreshments.

Places are strictly limited to 10 attendees (only 1 person per company) – so act quickly so you don’t miss out!

Please note that this session is NOT designed for authors.

FAQs

Who is this session designed for?

Marketing professionals in the publishing industry who are managing their own marketing teams or running their own campaigns. We’re afraid that it’s not been designed for authors in mind.

There’s a discount for BookMachine members. How do I sign up?

We’re glad you asked! Click here to sign up for a Campus membership from just £18/month. Not only does this get you the member discount – but you also get access to a library of over 100 video resources, publishing courses and discounts with industry partners.

Will you be recording the session if I can’t make it?

No. The session is incredibly boutique and limited to just 10 guests. The content will be interactive and tailored to the attendees in the room, and so won’t be as useful to you in a recorded format.

What’s accessibility like at the venue?

The nearest Underground station is North Greenwich, which has lifts between platform and ticket hall level. Our office is on the second floor. The doorways are wide and lift access is available. Toilets are single-room cubicles and are accessible to all genders.
