UK Publishers’ Walk and Talk: Happy Valley Walk
18 July, 2021 @ 10:50 am - 3:00 pm BST
Event Navigation
Walk and Talk with the BookMachine team! We’re easing you out of your lockdown life with a new series, taking place on select Sundays. Everyone is welcome to join us as we get some exercise – with a fix of nature – whilst connecting with others across the publishing industry.
The walks will be led by Justyna Pezik, an experienced walker and hiker. Justyna has worked in publishing for 22 years, both in editorial and rights, and alongside her busy workload has gained a Mountaineer License and hiked mountains all over Europe, North and South Americas and Asia. In her spare time she leads community walks for a local charity, so she knows her stuff!
The first walk will be happening on Sunday 18th July 2021 at the Happy Valley Park in Coulsdon, Surrey*. To take part, please book your place asap. We hope you join us!
*Sorry to all our far-flung members across the UK and wider world who cannot make this event. We would love to extend this to members elsewhere – so if you are interested in setting up your own Walk and Talk, please do get in touch!
Costs:
FREE for BookMachine members
Everyone else: Donation of £1 to £5 (pay what you can afford) for non-members – please bring a cash donation with you on the day.
(All fees will be donated to our charity partner of the year, Book Aid International)
