Sophie joined emc design (a family-owned design agency) in 2011 after a brief spell in arts management. Sophie quickly learned the ropes of the design and publishing industry and in 2017 formally took over the running of the business from her father Mike Cryer who started the company in 1991. You’ll usually find Sophie keeping up with industry news, and making emc the best place to work and do business with. When not at work she will be running around after her two young children.

About Christina

Christina has been at the Hive since 2006, and since then has gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of illustration, from initial briefing through to managing large projects. She looks through thousands of briefs a year and matches up text to the best illustrator for each project. Before joining the team she gained a degree in Photography and Digital Imaging and spent a few years as a wedding photographer and creating personalised images with the use of photoshop. She lives in the Cotswolds with her husband and daughter.
