Foreign Sales Coordinator – The Quarto Group, London [JOB POSTING]
Job Title: Foreign Sales Coordinator
Job Location: London, UK
Quarto is looking for a highly-organised Foreign Sales Coordinator to join our expanding Foreign Rights team and support our Asian Sales Reps based around the world.
The Quarto Group is the leading global illustrated book publisher and distribution group and is listed on the London Stock Exchange. Combining the might of a major and the creativity of an independent, Quarto creates more than 600 adult and children’s books a year. These books are sold by the Quarto Foreign Rights team into more than 45 countries and in more than 35 languages.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of our co-edition and royalty deals run smoothly across all of the Quarto lists – from the moment the deal is done to when books are delivered. This will involve working effectively with multiple internal departments, sending files and working copies, and answering any questions customers may have accurately and promptly.
You will also assist the Asian sales team by sending out sales material and helping with trip/book fair preparation as required.
You will have all the organisational skills needed to efficiently multi-task in a fast paced environment, managing multiple projects, priorities and customers and be able to collaborate effectively with internal colleagues. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, good knowledge of Microsoft office and an interest in learning new skills.
Previous experience in Foreign Rights, International Sales or Production is desired and the ability to conduct business in Mandarin would be an advantage but is not necessary.
The role is based in our London office.
If you feel like you meet the above requirements, we would love to hear from you! Please send a full CV and letter of application including salary expectations to Kate Essam, Senior Manager, QFR Operations: kate.essam@quarto.com
