2016 British Book Design and Production Awards finalists announced

The BPIF, Oxford Brookes University and The Publishers Association have just announced the shortlist for the British Book Design and Production Awards 2016. The awards promote and acknowledge innovative book design and expert craftsmanship. Titles on the shortlist include iRobot from the Carlton Publishing Group, Lolita from the Folio Society and Malaysia, published by Orion Publishing. You can view the full shortlist here.

To decide on the shortlist – a panel of 5 judges, selected from the areas of design, publishing, production and retail gathered for two days at Oxford Brookes University, where they went through a gruelling selection process. From a staggering 575 high quality entries, 82 books rose to the top to make it on to the 2016 shortlist.

The winners of each category will be announced on Thursday 10 November at a stunning ceremony at the prestigious Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel in Knightsbridge, London. To book early-bird tickets, please visit www.britishbookawards.org
