Disruption of scholarly publishing ecosystem: Early bird ends tomorrow [EVENT]

Event at Jam Factory 2

“Scholarly Publishing: Crossing the Rubicon” is a new BookMachine event, taking place in Oxford on Thursday 7th September – early bird ticket sales end tomorrow (Friday).

We know that the scholarly publishing ecosystem is facing disruption. We know that funders, researchers and librarians are facing the challenges of open access models. We know that technological innovations seem to appear almost on daily basis.

What no one knows just yet, is how best to act and react to this.

Our panel of speakers, including a ‘traditional’ publisher, start-up entrepreneur, and industry analyst will discuss just that.
