Co-founder of BookMachine among Stationers’ shortlist

The Young Stationers’ Prize is awarded for achievement and promise in journalism, publishing, and any other trade of the Stationers’ Company.

This year, BookMachine co-founder Laura Summers has been shortlisted for the prize, along with Ian Buckley (General Manager, Prima Software), Angela Clark (Author, Confessions of a Fashionista), Henry Foy (Central Europe Correspondent, Financial Times) and Rosamund Urwin (Columnist, Evening Standard).

The winner will be announced at an awards dinner at Stationers’ Hall on Monday, 20th July, at which Times columnist David Aaronovitch will be the after-dinner speaker. The Prize trophy will be presented by the Master of  the Stationers and Newspaper Makers, and was donated by the Pewterers’ Company.

Best of luck to everyone on the shortlist! (and particularly to our Laura…)
