Join us for an online mixer event, bringing together two communities.

Meet, mingle and chat online with BookMachine and Women’s Media Group members on Tuesday 28th June, from 6-7pm BST (1-2pm EST)!

Come together on virtual networking platform, Wonder, for an informal and sociable cameras-on mixer event. We will provide plenty of conversation starters to help you to get to know even more professionals across the publishing and creative industries, swap tips and share ideas.

This is a free event for members of the Women’s Media Group and BookMachine only.

About WMG

Women’s Media Group (WMG) is a New York City-based nonprofit association of women who have achieved prominence in the many fields of media. Their members – drawn primarily from print and digital book, magazine, and newspaper publishing; film and television; and online and other digital media – meet to collaborate with, learn from, inform, and support one another. The organization is also dedicated to mentoring young women interested in pursuing media careers.

Accessing the mixer

An RSVP is required, so please drop your name and details to us by signing up above. Please let us know if you are a member of the WMG or BookMachine. We will share the private Wonder link to join the session via email to everyone on the attendee list ahead of the event.

About Wonder

Wonder allows you to ‘move’ around the virtual room to meet different people and take part in lots of conversations – just as you might at an in-person event or conference. Guests move their avatars around with their mouse, joining a conversation by moving closer, and leaving it by moving away. Simple as that!
