Printing School Tours [19th July, London]
Have you heard about the next BookMachine/Unite event in London?
‘United, We Publish 3: Consent or Coercion – shape your fate in an age of change’ (6.30pm, Wednesday 19th July, London) will examine how to manage change at all levels within an organisation. The event is exactly 6 weeks away, and today we are launching the pre-event tours.
Printing school tours (5.30-6.30pm Wednesday 19th July, 15 mins each)
Before the event, we will be running 4 tours of the printing school at St Bride Foundation. It was set up in 1891 and even now continues to run courses on composition, printing and bookbinding. The remaining equipment is impressive, there is a compositor’s case from Oxford University Press which dates back to 1668! Even the smell of ink is somewhat evocative.
