Winner Announced (Design an image competition)
We have a winner! We’re excited to announce the winner of the BookMachine cover image competition. Thanks to everyone who entered and who gave our judges an enjoyable and challenging job.
The challenge was to design a new cover image for BookMachine.me profiles. There wasn’t a fixed brief, aside from to start the new year with something fresh.
Congratulations to Sploosh Design, the winners for 2015.
“We are proud to be associated with BookMachine, and be given this chance to showcase our work as a budding start-up. Looking forward to gearing up a relationship with BookMachine and their associates!” says Radha, Director.
All BookMachine.me profiles will showcase the new design, though those who have promoted profiles can pick their own custom designs.
If you haven’t yet picked up on the buzz around BookMachine.me, you can build a profile by uploading recent projects you have worked on, or browse through profiles of people you have worked with and recommend their work. For each project uploaded and recommendation received, you will get points. The profiles which appear first in search listings are those with the most points. It’s as simple as that.
Each week BookMachine picks a ‘profile of the week’ which is promoted to thousands of publishing professionals globally. The goal is to give talented professionals in publishing recognition and visibility.
I like it. The previous design bothered me as the images running under the text on the left made it hard to read. This is much simpler, and extends the existing Bookmachine branding well.
