Job Title: Junior Marketing Executive (1 year, fixed term contract)
Location: Brighton

Are you looking to embark on your career in marketing?
If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you. Pavillion Publishing are seeking an enthusiastic and hard- working Junior Marketing Executive to join their team on a 1 year fixed term contract. This position would suit a graduate (or equivalent) in a marketing/business related field, looking to gain some experience within a professional publishing environment.
Reporting to the marketing manager, you will be required to carry out marketing administrative duties to help generate and maintain sales. You will support the organisation and planning of various marketing projects, as well as provide adhoc assistance to your colleagues on several marketing campaigns. You will have the opportunity to create, develop and execute your own marketing campaigns as time progresses.
Your role will be varied and you will gain experience of the full marketing mix with the opportunity to develop skills within different areas of the business. Ideally you will be eager to learn, be diligent, have a can-do attitude and have plenty of initiative.
Pavilion Publishing and Media is the leading provider of professional development products and services for public, private and voluntary workers in the health, social care, education, and community safety sectors. Our portfolio includes journals, books, training materials, interactive websites, exhibitions and conferences.
Key responsibilities
Market research, social media scheduling, events admin, development of product collateral (web and print) Email marketing, website product updates, data administration, reporting.
Skills
  • Ideally degree (or equivalent) educated- marketing or business degree
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Good team player, willingness to learn and develop
  • Highly organised and quick learner
  • Strong IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Outllook, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Basic HTML knowledge
